Course-wide Requirements
You will need to log 90 hours of live contact time. You will receive a Google sheet to log your live contact hours. The completed log is due at the very end of the course, after Module 20. Further details regarding what can be counted as Live Contact Hours can be found in your Student Resource Centre in your Academy.
You will need to log 50 hours of coaching time. Your coaching hours log is located on the same Google sheet, on a separate tab, as your live contact hours. The coaching hours log is also due at the very end of the course, after Module 20. Details of what counts as Coaching Hours are found in the Student Resource Centre.
You are required to read 4 books over the duration of the course. The reading list is provided in the Student Resource Centre. There will be a short reflection to complete in the form of a survey at the end of each Pillar.
In Module 4 you are introduced to the concept of Tripods (groups of 3 students). You will arrange to meet with your Tripod for a minimum of 6 sessions. These will be recorded in your Tripod Log, along with your reflections on each session. The Tripod Log can be located in the Student Resource Centre and is due in at the end of Pillar 3, after Module 18.
This will be conducted towards the end of Pillar 1, and will be explained further in that Pillar.
This will be conducted towards the end of Pillar 3, and will be explained further in that Pillar.
You will complete one case study of 8 sessions in Pillar 3 and five further case studies (two of 6 sessions and three of 4 sessions) in Pillar 4. This will be explained later on in the course.

You will need to find a total of 6-8 volunteers to work with in Pillars 1, 3 and 4 of the course (you may use the same volunteers for your coaching supervisions as one of your Pillars 3 and 4 case studies). You will need to acquire student health coaching insurance before working with your volunteers (explained in Module 5).

In addition to the Course-wide Requirements, there are requirements to be met in each Pillar so that you can progress to the next Pillar and, ultimately, graduate the course.
