Live Events

Live Events are an essential part of your health coaching training, offering an incredible opportunity to connect, learn, and grow alongside your peers. These sessions provide hands-on learning experiences that complement your studies and are vital to achieving the 90 hours required for your health coaching accreditation.

We understand how important it is to balance your studies with home and work life, which is why all live events for the year are planned well in advance. The events will be visible on your student calendar and details are also shared at the start of each month and on a weekly basis. This allows you to create a schedule that fits seamlessly into your life, ensuring you never miss out on these valuable sessions.

Here is an overview of the different types of live events we offer at HCA to deepen your knowledge, build confidence, and feel supported as you work towards becoming a certified Health Coach.

Coaching Clinics

Coaching Clinics offer a unique opportunity for you to observe a Master Coach at work. Come and join the monthly 90 minute sessions to watch Marcelle Dubruel, HCA's Senior Health Coach, coaching one of your peers. You will see how HCA's coaching tools and the GREAT coaching process are seamlessly woven into a client session as well as having the opportunity to pose your questions about the process and outcomes.

Coach, Connect and Support

Coach, Connect and Support Sessions (CCS) are held 4-6 times per month; they are suitable for all students including new joiners. These sessions provide a valuable and rich opportunity for you to connect with fellow students, including those further on in their coaching training journey.

The format of these safe and supportive sessions varies: some offer the opportunity to practise coaching skills and coaching tools, others are Student Spotlights, during which our student body can share their personal story (and hone their presentation skills), and during others, you will hear from expert speakers on a host of fascinating health and wellbeing topics including neurodiversity, trauma, exercise, mindset, corporate health coaching, and much more. The speaker sessions are all recorded for you to catch up on in your own time should you wish to.

Webinars

In addition to our regular sessions, we host special topic webinars, often with special guest speakers throughout the year, to deepen your knowledge and enhance your health coaching skills. Taking place at different points throughout the year, these events provide valuable insights and opportunities to expand your expertise, as well as keeping you engaged and inspired on your health coach journey.

1-Day Special Live Events Online

We host quarterly 1-Day Special Live Events online that are designed to inspire and enrich your learning journey. These events feature highly respected guest speakers from the health and wellbeing industry. In the past we have had Michael Arloski, Patrick Holford, Dr. Indra Barathan, and TEDx speaker Darryl Edwards, among many others.

These full-day online events are more than just a learning opportunity - they're a chance to engage in coaching practice that counts toward your coaching log and to have the opportunity to connect with graduates and fellow students at various stages of their training.

3-Day In-Person Live Events

We are the only Diploma training course that offers the unique opportunity to experience Health Coaching live with leaders of our Academy, across three dynamic days: twice a year in London, UK, and once a year in Johannesburg, South Africa.

These events provide you with a chance to:

  • Meet and get to know the HCA central team in person, including our very own directors

  • Connect with like-minded, passionate students from different stages of the course

  • Hear and learn from expert speakers in the Health, Nutrition, Wellbeing, Health Coaching and Business and Marketing industries

  • Take part in interactive breakout sessions, putting newfound knowledge and skills into practice with peers

  • Graduate LIVE with the HCA team including our Director of Studies, Nikki, & Head of Live Supervisions, Mary

  • Bring learning to life!

Your course fee includes a place at one 3-day live event. In the UK you can select from two dates; in South Africa, we hold the event once a year in Johannesburg.
